Lilia Shirman steps in as Interim CMO at MariaDB Corp.

MariaDB Corp, the company behind the fastest-growing open source database, has invited Shirman Group CEO Lilia Shirman to lead its marketing organization during a critical transition period in the company’s development. MariaDB is introducing new products and technologies in a shift to add products and solutions to its traditionally services-focused business, and needs to create an effective and professionally-operated marketing function. While Lilia will be focused primarily on building this capability for MariaDB over the coming months, she will continue to work closely with the Shirman Group team to deliver high-impact strategies and flawless execution to our clients.

CRDF Global Innovation Program brings international group of entrepreneurs to Silicon Valley

The U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation is bringing its Global Innovation program to Silicon Valley.  As part of their two-week visit to two of the U.S.'s largest hot-beds of innovation in Boston and Silicon Valley, the start-up teams will be learning about starting and growing their businesses.  

Lilia Shirman and Ken Goldberg will be talking about best practices and mistakes in partnering with much larger and established industry players.  In addition, the start-up founders will meet with Silicon Valley venture capitalists, attorneys, executives, and business experts to learn how foreign technology start-ups can gain a foothold in the U.S. Market, attract investment capital, and establish global relationships.

Using Social Media for B2B Lead Generation: SVAMA hosts industry experts
